Wandsworth Civic Suite is a beautiful suite in a Grade II listed building located next to Wandsworth Town Hall. Comprising two spacious interconnected function rooms, the Civic Hall and Banqueting Suite with an overall capacity up to 530 people seated, the venue can accommodate a range of events such as conferences, corporate parties, weddings, receptions, performances and funerals.
The Civic Suite has sprung maple wood flooring, and wood-panelled walls. The foyer consists of marble fixtures and 1930s chandeliers, along with portraits of former local mayors on the walls leading up to the main events spaces, giving the interior an Old World ambiance. The Civic Suite is licensed for civil marriages and civil partnerships. On the ground floor, the Robing Room is a small lockable wood-panelled room which is perfect for civil marriages/partnerships, photography, a private room for the bridal party to get changed in or a break out area.
Going up to the first floor, the Civic Hall is the largest event space with its own stage accommodating up to 280 guests seated (around 5ft rounds). It is a blank canvas venue that can be decorated on any preference. Wooden flooring means that you can create a space for dancing with or without a dancefloor, and state of the art lighting adds atmosphere and colour to your event space further enhancing your chosen décor. Great for large events, this space is the perfect all-rounder to take your guests through from morning to midnight. The Banqueting Suite is immediately next to the Civic Hall and can be used for banquet style meals, additional seating and as an overflow space. A fully equipped kitchen and bar area means the Civic Suite is a dry hire venue and you are welcomed to bring your own preferred suppliers.
