About this space

Rough Trade East offers a highly adaptable event space that can be configured to suit a wide range of corporate and creative event formats. The venue's iconic record racks form part of its distinctive character and can be repositioned to create open event layouts, exhibition areas, networking spaces or audience seating configurations.

The main floor features a built-in stage, professional sound system and extensive backline equipment, giving clients the flexibility to incorporate presentations, panel discussions, film screenings, live performances or DJ sets into their event. A fully serviced bar sits within the space, while tables and seating can be arranged to accommodate everything from standing receptions and brand activations to conference-style layouts and workshop sessions.

For productions and private event requirements, the venue also includes a dedicated green room, providing a convenient backstage area for speakers, performers, VIP guests, production teams or event staff.

Whether hosting a product launch, networking reception, conference, content production, film screening or experiential brand activation, Rough Trade East can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of each event while retaining the unique atmosphere and cultural heritage that have made it one of London's most recognised creative destinations.
