About this space

Beach Tennis Courts, an outdoor sand-surfaced play area at Bola Beach Tennis Club, recreates a beach-style court environment on a level, raked surface for informal sport and social play.

Design: The courts sit inside a low timber enclosure under open sky and are framed by simple deck seating and wooden benches, giving the space a casual, accessible layout.

Features: The courts have competition nets and marked playing lines and can be rearranged for different configurations. A PA system and speakers are provided, and hosts may play their own music subject to the venue's noise restrictions. The area provides a step-free guest entrance, wheelchair-accessible routes and accessible toilets. Casual seating and a small dance area are positioned around the perimeter.

Ideal for: Active, social groups seeking a relaxed, outdoor sports session that combines casual play and standing socialising.

What sets it apart: A structured community programme and regular onsite coaching create organised, social sessions that run throughout the week.

What guests say: The space is energetic and welcoming, and the facilities are well maintained and feel consistently high quality.
