CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be in writing and acknowledged by AP. Rental fees are non-refundable if canceled within 90 days. Cancellations made at least 90 days prior receive a 50% refund. Date changes within one year incur a $500 fee. AP may cancel bookings if terms are not met, without liability.
EVENT RULES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client must return the venue to its original condition. Approved items include DJ setup, speakers, lighting, dry color powder, food stations, photo booths, and décor. Confetti, artificial petals, rice, sparkles, fireworks, and open flames require prior approval. Event times: Setup (11 AM), Event (1 PM – 6 PM), Teardown (6 PM – 8 PM). Guests must vacate on time.
DAMAGE & LIABILITY
The security deposit is withheld for damages. Unauthorized movement of furniture/equipment may result in fees. The Client is responsible for restricting access to unauthorized areas. Proof of $2M third-party liability insurance, naming Artists’ Play Inc., Metrolinx, and Avison Young REMS as insured parties, is required.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Styrofoam is prohibited. Disposable dishware should be minimized. Eco-friendly solutions should be discussed with AP.
EVENT BEHAVIOR & TERMINATION
Disorderly conduct, excessive intoxication, damage, or disturbances may result in event termination without refund. AP may remove individuals to ensure safety and substitute meeting spaces if needed due to unforeseen circumstances.
FORCE MAJEURE
AP is not liable for cancellations/delays due to natural disasters, equipment failure, strikes, or regulations. In emergencies, AP reserves the right to evacuate.
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day with Grace Period
