About this space

Steam Jacket Brewing is a working microbrewery and taproom run by a family team that maintains a relaxed, neighbourhood feel.

Design: The interior pairs warehouse-scale proportions and exposed metalwork with long timber tables and low-hung pendant lights. The floor is polished concrete and high windows allow natural daylight to filter into the room.

Features: A staffed bar and a simple in-house kitchen provide pizza and snacks, and an adjacent food-truck park is available for larger catering needs. A fixed PA/speaker system is installed and guest DJs are permitted. A pool table and space for pub games coexist with step-free guest access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Craft-beer fans and local social groups seeking a relaxed, informal standing reception or a casual seated meal.

What sets it apart: The venue's operational barrel room and visible brewing tanks are incorporated into the hireable space.

What guests say: The space is warm and inviting with a laid-back atmosphere suited to live music and social games. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has friendly, knowledgeable staff.
