About this space

Back Bar is a private event space in Steam Jacket Brewing centred on an open-plan, industrial taproom layout defined by long communal timber tables.

Design: The interior features high ceilings, exposed metal rafters and corrugated roofing, dark-painted walls and suspended industrial pendant lights that illuminate a concrete floor.

Features: The Back Bar has a staffed service bar, a PA system with speakers and permission for guests to play their own music. The space receives natural light and includes step-free access and accessible toilets. The layout is flexible so furniture can be rearranged for different seating and standing configurations.

Ideal for: The Back Bar is best suited to local groups seeking a relaxed, social mix of standing reception and informal seated dining.

What sets it apart: The Back Bar provides direct views of on-site barrel ageing racks and fermentation vessels, integrating visible brewing equipment into the event area.

What guests say: The Back Bar is warm and inviting and has a laid-back atmosphere. The space is wheelchair accessible and has a friendly, approachable feel.
