The Seamstress dining room, celebrates the merging of traditional pan-asian ingredients with modern kitchen techniques. Our menu is all about shared dining enjoyed in a lively but casual social setting.
An intimate 50 seater restaurant, featuring a canopy of sweeping fabric, colourful hanging floral arrays and scattered iconic sewing machinery.
We can accommodate parties of 2 - 20 on single tables and have great options for larger parties and exclusive use / private dining 7 days a week.
Our menu is all about a shared dining experience, served in a succession of short courses. Our dishes are available in Small, Medium & Large enabling us to tailor a unique meal to your tastes.
We take great care of dietary requirements and allergies, catering particularly well for gluten-free diets.

Seamstress Restaurant & Bar opened in 2007 in Melbourne's historic Chinatown district, housed in a 120yr-old former textile factory, warehouse and one-time Buddhist monastery.
We regularly host a variety of parties, events and functions across all 4 floors of our venue.
In the past 6 months alone we have catered for numerous personal gathering for birthdays, farewells & engagements as well as corporate meetings, dinners, networking drinks and team parties.
