Location, affordability, inside/outside option, we could play the music LOUD, more than enough room for dancing
1 barman not enough for 70+guests so long waits at bar (another guy did come for awhile but should have stayed longer), barman didn’t know how to make aperol spritz properly so guests went to downstairs bar, one screen not working for photos to show, food not walked around on verandah so there definitely some folks unaware of food and / or never got offered food.

I honestly can't rave about this venue and the service enough! We held our wedding reception here, which was more of a general party celebration and everything was perfect. We were so looked after from the very beginning. Dealing with Cara over email was an absolute breeze, they were able to accommodate everything we wanted, including a band, split tabs, decorations and more. Then the day before, we dropped off our decorations which they set up for us beautifully and we met the manager who would be looking after us on the day, Caitlin. Caitlin was incredible, so attentive to our needs, super friendly and did everything to make sure we were looked after. 10/10 would recommend The Verandah Bar for any type of party!
