About this space

Flooded with natural light and creatively designed, The Lantern is the perfect venue for a wide variety of events and functions. Located in a quiet street of Bermondsey with a selection of independent cafes surrounding it, we are a 10-minute walk from both London Bridge and Bermondsey stations.

Set up your team in a creative environment for team away days, meetings and conferences to spark their innovation. We have a large boardroom style table that comfortably seats 12-15 people, including a 65 inch smart tv. Just a short walk from the Thames and the iconic Tower Bridge, it is also easy to take a break from brainstorming with a stroll along the river.

The Lantern is also ideal for creative workshops and charity days. We’ve previously hosted several different charity and social hobby groups here, who love the homely feel of the space.

We love a party as much as the next person; however, our venue is only suitable to certain requirements. Please send us an enquiry with your party and we will try our best to accommodate your celebration.

Please also note that we are a dry-hire venue only. You are welcome to supply your own food and alcohol and store this in our on-site fridges, or hire external caterers, however use of the oven and hob is prohibited due to our insurance policies.

About The Lantern by Tonik

The Lantern by Tonik is a flexible events venue with several different zones. These include a small meeting table for 4-6 people, a large table that can seat 10-12 people with the option of a moveable screen that can connect to your laptop, and a lounge area.

The space is warm and homely, but furniture can be moved depending on the needs of the event.

We also have a bar area, which is perfect for dry-hire with a large selection of glasses.
