About this space

Flooded with natural light and creatively designed, The Lantern is the perfect venue for a wide variety of events and functions. Located in a quiet street of Bermondsey with a selection of independent cafes surrounding it, we are a 10-minute walk from both London Bridge and Bermondsey stations.

Set up your team in a creative environment for team away days, meetings and conferences to spark their innovation. We have a large boardroom style table that comfortably seats 12-15 people, including a 65 inch smart tv. Just a short walk from the Thames and the iconic Tower Bridge, it is also easy to take a break from brainstorming with a stroll along the river.

The Lantern is also ideal for creative workshops and charity days. We’ve previously hosted several different charity and social hobby groups here, who love the homely feel of the space.

We love a party as much as the next person; however, our venue is only suitable to certain requirements. Please send us an enquiry with your party and we will try our best to accommodate your celebration.

Please also note that we are a dry-hire venue only. You are welcome to supply your own food and alcohol and store this in our on-site fridges, or hire external caterers, however use of the oven and hob is prohibited due to our insurance policies.

We had a great experience! The venue is in a fantastic location, was very clean, and had everything we needed for our event. A special thank you to Taleah, who was amazing. She was very helpful, attentive throughout the entire event, and always available whenever we needed anything. Her support made everything run smoothly. The space was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our group of 25 people. We truly appreciate everything and would definitely recommend this venue. Thank you for helping make our event a success!
