About The Cabaret Voltaire

The Cabaret Voltaire is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

The Cabaret Voltaire is a two-storey nightclub combining a basement live-music club and an upstairs cocktail bar and café area.

Venue highlights: The basement club includes a live stage and sound setup that regularly hosts promoted, ticketed nights. An upstairs cocktail bar and café area provides a quieter space for pre-show drinks and mingling. In-house catering and a staffed bar support private functions and event food-and-drink service.

Best for: Intimate live-music gigs, DJ-led late-night parties and cocktail receptions.

Location: Edinburgh's Old Town on Blair Street, an area of historic streets clustered with late-night bars and performance venues that gives hosts easy options for pre- or post-event plans.

What guests say: The café area provides a comfortable, chilled setting for quieter pre-event drinks. The venue's DJ nights and live sets deliver strong house and party music, and bar staff are attentive and helpful during busy nights.
