I liked the layout and the furniture. I liked the size of the venue. I liked the look of everything inside it. I liked that I could play my own music in it.
Only downside is the prices of drinks were a bit expensive.

The venue was great, communication before hand with Dara and Sorina was brilliant, they were both really proactive, keen to help, and really lovely. The venue was beautiful, a great size and space and furniture can be easily moved around to suit what you want.
Unfortunately, on the night of the event, Dara and Sorina were not working and so we were taken care of by a different manager (don't know his name sorry!). Unfortunately myself and my colleagues found him to be rude and unhelpful. The first issue was that he wanted us to have an open tab at the bar but as all our staff would be buying their own drinks this would not work for us. When I explained this politely, he was not impressed and said this would be an issue for him and his bartender.
During the night the manager continued to be standoffish towards our staff. We had to ask many times for the music to be turned up a bit as it was not audible in the main room at all. Despite this the music was not turned up and many staff ended up gathering in front of the bar to dance there as that was the only place you could hear the music.
I understand that as the venue is part of a hotel they dont want music to be too loud as to upset their guests but if that is an issue they should make this clear when booking that it is not a venue for music and dancing. When I booked the venue I specifically asked for a small dancefloor area as our staff like to dance and celebrate when we get together and I was told this was not an issue and the venue often hosted parties and wedding receptions. I do think if we had been looked after by Dara or Sorina during the event, we would not have had these issues, as the male manager seemed to be off with us from the start and unwilling to be helpful before or during the event.
