Cabaret Voltaire takes over two entire floors of vaults and stonework! Enjoy a high-energy nightclub with a laid-back upstairs café bar. Together, they can host up to 610 people. It is great for large events, such as live gigs, acoustic sessions, and cocktail socials.
Downstairs, the club’s labyrinth of vaulted rooms pumps with sound and lighting equipment. It is perfect for electronic, techno, and live performances. Upstairs, Cabaret Café offers a softer side. It is a candlelit space with comfy booths and warm lighting.

This is Cabaret Voltaire, a local arts and music institution in Edinburgh’s Old Town! We specialise in music: live music, dance music, but most importantly, LOUD music! From legendary club nights to countless gigs and special events, we’ve transformed the historic North Bridge vaults into one of Scotland’s most iconic venues.
