About Chateau Cara Brooklyn Townhouse
Chateau Cara is an Italianate brownstone townhouse. It was built in 1879 and is situated in the north of Prospect Park. It has undergone a massive renovation and historic restoration. It was modernized where it was necessary and every salvageable detail was restored. The style of the Chateau Caraz is a mix of Marie Antoinette's Petite Palais, Alice and Wonderland down the rabbit hole, and 1960's rock and roll bohemian vibes. The fabrics and wallpaper are from markets from India and the Silk Road in China to Romania to the south of France.
Located in the neighborhood of Prospect Heights, Brooklyn right off the B and Q, 7th Avenue subway station.
