About this space

Adler Hall is a Theatre in The New York Society for Ethical Culture defined by its curved balcony and tiered auditorium layout that preserves sightlines across the room.

Design: The hall has high vaulted plaster ceilings, arched stained-glass windows, white walls and dark wood panelling that frame a traditional auditorium interior.

Features: The space provides fixed pew-style seating with padded cushions, a house PA system and the option to play your own music or hire a DJ. The space also includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, wheelchair access, accessible restrooms and a step-free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Cultural and educational organizations seeking a seated, formal presentation or performance setting where focused listening is required.

What sets it apart: The hall delivers natural, balanced acoustics that carry speech and unamplified music clearly through the auditorium.

What guests say: The seating consists of church-style pews with padded cushions that some visitors find less comfortable. The hall has restrooms in the basement and upper seating levels can feel warm during events.
