The Mezzanine at Tarrallucci e Vino Union Square hosted our rehearsal dinner in August 2026. It was the perfect space for our event: the space was completely private, and Amanda and the team went above and beyond to make the space feel like ours, from the fresh flowers matching our wedding decor, to navigating a crazy monsoon thunderstorm, and making our families feel at home and welcomed. The food was amazing and plentiful, wine glasses stayed filled, and the atmosphere was exactly what we'd hoped for: a warm and homey place to celebrate our two families joining together. It was the only time our families were able to relax and be together during an otherwise busy wedding weekend. I looked at least a dozen venues throughout Manhattan for our family dinner, and The Mezzanine at Tarallucci e Vino Union Square was an easy choice. We prioritized privacy, a warm atmosphere, and quality food and wine that was within our budget. No other place came close.
The street entrance to The Mezzanine (next door to the restaurant) is a little unpolished, but don't let that deter you! The space itself is a charming, hidden gem. From the exposed brick and the huge windows to the warm bar and lounge area, The Mezzanine feels like visiting a friend's home for a lovely dinner party.
