Space features
The Grisly Pear Midtown is a bar defined by an energetic, music-forward atmosphere and an informal layout that encourages socialising.
Design: The interior pairs a long polished wood bar and rows of high stools with dark-painted walls, framed prints and a mirrored back bar. The lighting is warm and low and the ceiling height is modest, creating compact sightlines and an intimate scale.
Features: A full bar serves draught beers, cocktails and a menu of small plates. The space includes a PA system and speakers, air conditioning, natural daylight at the front, step-free entry and accessible toilets.
Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social evening that mixes seated bar service and standing mingling.
What sets it apart: A theatre-style rear room provides a dedicated performance space separated from the main bar.
What guests say: The venue has a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Staff are generally friendly and service handles large parties efficiently, though attention can be uneven at very busy moments.
