The Secret Underground Speakeasy is a private Cocktail Bar room in Leather & Rose defined by a low‑ceilinged, cellar‑style setting with bottle‑lined walls.

Design: The interior pairs exposed brick and timber with reclaimed‑wood shelving, barrel‑top furniture and decorative textiles to form a compact, tactile space. The lighting is low and coloured, supplied by pendant and string lights that create focussed pools rather than even illumination.

Features: The room includes a PA system and speakers and permits guests to play their own music or bring an external DJ. The space also provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and a clear area suitable for standing and dancing.

Amazing time. Team was super communicative. Some last minute changes, but all handled very professionally. Highly recommend! Every guest was raving about how much fun the night is and definitely recommend karaoke!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Leather & Rose with a Roaring 20s theme. All our friends dressed the part. It was amazing! From beginning to end the staff were helpful, friendly and informative. Nick helped me put together a menu for food and drinks on the patio to start the evening prior to our guests being escorted downstairs by Stephanie. The speakeasy was a surprise to everyone and Stephanie presented it beautifully as she escorted small groups to the venue. Jimmy’s help in purchasing and setting up the bar was invaluable. Listen to his recommendations because he was exactly right on how much and what alcohol to buy/ serve. Ashley did a fantastic job behind the bar and kept our guests well hydrated with cocktails. Later in the evening we cut a cake on the upstairs patio and Stephanie and staff helped serve and again make sure everything went smoothly. The venue was beautiful, stylish with a great vibe. The staff made the entire event process painless and enjoyable. You won’t be disappointed if you book an event here. Nick and his staff are the best. Keep up the Good work. I would highly recommend this venue for any event. You will not be disappointed.
