About this space
Traditional home style Ukrainian / Eastern European cuisine with popular dishes such as Borscht, kharcho, chicken blintz, beef-stroganoff, chicken tabaka, herring and potatoes, salad olivier, stuffed cabbage, flame-grilled shashlik, to just name a few. We also have our famous homemade infused vodka, flavors include lemon, cranberry, raspberry, horseradish, and garlic pepper.
Traktir first opened in 2005 and has been a popular Eastern European Ukrainian restaurant ever since. Opening next door to a popular Eastern European deli called Royal Gourmet (established in 1993) realizing people wanted the real experience of a sit-down restaurant as well as takeout. Our restaurant is great for large parties as well as small ones. Come in and enjoy a real authentic experience.

The word "Traktir" means a tavern, a place to come and enjoy tasty food, excellent vodka, and spend time with friends and family.
Eastern European cuisine is diverse with influences from many countries and regions surroundings such as Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Latvia just to name a few. Our restaurant specializes in authentic dishes, such as Ukrainian Borscht, Beef Stroganoff, Chicken
Tabaka, Shashlik, Pelmeni, Galubtsy and many more. We also offer our homemade infused vodka with classic flavors including cranberry, horseradish, lemon, raspberry, and pepper garlic.
