About this space

Windy City Sailing is a privately chartered sailing yacht that functions as an event space; its defining quality is being an operable sailboat rather than a fixed room.

Design: The yacht's interior is functional and nautical, featuring timber decking, exposed stainless-steel fittings, a compact helm and an open cockpit that emphasises clean lines and practical circulation.

Features: The yacht has a built-in PA system and onboard speakers and permits guests to play their own music. The charter includes a professional captain and crew who manage navigation and safety. The deck layout provides sheltered and open seating areas and direct access to the helm for an experiential sail.

Ideal for: Groups seeking an active, relaxed social gathering on the water that mixes standing socialising and informal seated areas.

What sets it apart: An option to anchor and allow guests to swim directly from the yacht is available in suitable conditions.

What guests say: The yacht is well maintained and the crew are professional and safety-focused. The onboard vantage point provides memorable skyline views.
