Sanctuary is an Event Space in the Brooklyn Peace Center; it is a long, high-ceilinged hall with chapel-like proportions.
Design: Polished hardwood floors and decorative plaster mouldings sit beneath a high vaulted ceiling. The room has neutral painted walls, ceiling fans and a central pendant light that complement its simple, formal proportions.
Features: A built-in raised stage provides a focal point for presentations and performances. A PA system and fixed speakers are supplied, and hosts may play their own music or bring a DJ. Wi-Fi access is available and the space is wheelchair accessible; stackable chairs and folding tables are stored on-site for flexible layouts.

- Please treat the Main Hall and all furnishings with care and respect. Any damages may result in additional charges.
- Do not exceed the agreed-upon guest capacity for the event.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the building.
- No candles, incense, propane stoves, or any open flames are allowed inside the building for safety reasons.
- Sound levels must be kept reasonable to respect neighbors and building occupants.
- All decorations must be free-standing. Do not attach anything to walls, ceilings, windows, or fixtures without prior approval. No nails, screws, or heavy adhesives.
- Catering and refreshments are allowed. Onsite cooking is not permitted.
- Renters are responsible for basic cleanup, including removing all trash, decorations, and personal belongings by the end of the rental time.
- The Main Hall is located one flight up from the street. Please plan accordingly for setup and breakdown within your rental period.
- All deliveries and pickups must be scheduled within the rental window unless otherwise arranged.
- Event insurance may be required for certain events at the discretion of Brooklyn Peace Center.
- All exits must remain clear. Do not block doorways, stairways, or emergency exits at any time.
- All guests and organizers must conduct themselves respectfully. Brooklyn Peace Center reserves the right to end any event if activities violate our safety, noise, or conduct policies.
