About this space

Half Back Room is a semi-private dining area in Meadowsweet, defined by a long, banquette-lined layout that creates a distinct, enclosed dining corner.

Design: Exposed whitewashed brick sits opposite pale horizontal timber cladding; patterned encaustic-style tiles cover the floor and a large mirror increases perceived depth under low pendant lighting.

Features: The space benefits from natural light and air conditioning and provides step-free guest access and accessible toilets. The area is arranged with solid wooden dining tables and freestanding chairs prepared for seated service.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, seated dinner in a semi-private, informal setting.

What sets it apart: Hosts can play their own music in the room, allowing a personalised soundtrack for private dinners and gatherings.

What guests say: The space is elegant and airy and the front-of-house team provides polished, attentive service.
