About this space

Outdoor is a Private outdoor space in Java Studios defined by a mural-lined courtyard centered on communal seating.

Design: The courtyard sits within the building's industrial envelope and is finished in painted concrete floors, exposed perimeter walls and timber furniture grouped around planters.

Features: The space includes Wi‑Fi and an installed PA system, and it permits guest music or a brought‑in DJ. Fixed timber benches and movable chairs are provided. The courtyard has step‑free access and is wheelchair accessible.

Ideal for: Small creative groups and informal social gatherings that favor relaxed, workshop-style or standing reception formats.

What sets it apart: An iridescent translucent canopy arches above the seating and casts coloured, diffused light across the courtyard.

What guests say: The space's atmosphere is welcoming, and the wider studio community is supportive and easy-going.
