Very poor communication
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before choosing The Loft Story in New York for an event. What should have been a professional and organized production became stressful due to last-minute changes, lack of consistency with agreed arrangements, and an overall unprofessional environment. Our contract was not honored, and was breached, and changed on show day due to the owner, not agreeing with her employee Daniela’s contract. Wow that has nothing to do with us as we signed a contract. The owner Eliana was extremely rude to guests, staff and myself. She told me to shut up and she touched me in the face. Our bar was canceled, and our event was cut short due to Eliana, not agreeing with the things set in place by Daniela. She wouldn’t even let guests into our event who had paid tickets. This became a huge financial issue for us and now we are addressing it legally. Clear communication, respect, and reliability are essential when selecting a venue, and unfortunately those standards were not met in this case. I encourage anyone planning an event to carefully evaluate all details and ensure expectations will be fully honored before committing.
