Entire Venue at Waller Creek Boathouse
About this space
Waller Creek Boathouse is a compact boathouse-style event venue centred on a glass-fronted main room that opens onto a linear wood deck, creating a strong indoor–outdoor connection.
Design: The main room features floor-to-ceiling glazing and clean, practical finishes that maximise natural light; the interior reads as airy and functional with an open-plan layout that runs onto a contiguous wood deck.
Features: The venue includes air conditioning and venue Wi‑Fi plus a PA system and speakers. The space permits playing your own music or bringing a DJ subject to a noise policy, and it has a step‑free guest entrance and an adjacent covered wood deck for programmed activity or guest spillout.
Ideal for: Community groups and small social clubs seeking a relaxed, activity-focused setting that mixes seated and active formats.
What sets it apart: Direct waterside launch and kayak access from the boathouse deck, allowing on-site paddlecraft activity as part of a hire.
What guests say: The venue is scenic and breezy, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The venue's pricing is reasonable and the on-site support is practical.
