The Far Out Lounge is one of the coolest places to hang out in Austin, Texas. It's an indoor/outdoor music venue with multiple bars, delicious food trucks, and a wide variety of events and entertainment.
Opened in 2019, the venue has received multiple awards - including winning "Best of Austin" by the Austin Chronicle, and "Best New Music Venue" at the Austin Music Awards. There has been a bar on the 3-acre property since the early 1900's, when cowboys used to tie their horses up outside. Willie Nelson has shot movies and music videos here, and Janis Joplin performed here once upon a time.
