About this space

Station Hall is a Hall in the National Railway Museum, featuring a broad open floor and an industrial character set by structural columns and high vertical space.

Design: The interior presents industrial finishes including exposed iron columns, a dark-painted ceiling and a hard, polished floor surface. The room sits as a large, contained volume and is lit to allow focused, low-level illumination across the floor.

Features: The hall provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and includes a designated dance area with permission for own music and external DJs. The space has natural light, step-free guest access and accessible toilets, and it is wheelchair accessible throughout.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a large, social gathering space that supports seated dining and a music-led evening with a central dance area.
