About Custard Factory
Birmingham’s famous Custard Factory was built by Alfie Bird to produce Bird’s Custard in 1902. Today it retains its industrious edge with original Crittall windows, exposed steels and high ceilings.
The former factory has been updated to combine industrial architecture with contemporary interiors - with a range of characterful venues to choose from. The Custard Factory is home to a hive of creative businesses as well as exclusively independent shops, cafes, bars and event spaces.
