Arcane Fairies is a speakeasy-style rock ’n’ roll bar right in the middle of Melbourne’s CBD on Lonsdale Street. The space is centred around a fairy chest bar, with booth seating spread out beneath large fairy sculptures, twisted nest details, and shelves of glowing curiosities.
One of the things people notice first is the drink delivery. Cocktails travel along Australia’s first fully integrated zipline system, gliding about 50 metres along overhead lines from the bar straight to the booths.
There’s a gold-coin jukebox for music, and the overall feel is a bit theatrical but still comfortable enough to settle in for the night. The bar serves signature cocktails, craft beers, rare spirits, and a late-night food menu.
Arcane Fairies is open late from Wednesday to Sunday, fully wheelchair accessible, and works well for private events, corporate functions, birthday celebrations, or group bookings.
