The inside of Soggy Dog Recording has a cozy, home-style setup with timber floors, soft lighting, and black acoustic panels overhead. There’s a small lounge space at the back with armchairs and curtains, good for breaks or quiet listening.
The main room has couches, drums, guitars, and just enough floor space to jam, track live takes, or record with a small crew. Everything’s close, which makes it easy to switch between playing and hanging out.

About Soggy Dog Recording
Soggy Dog Recording is a small, boutique studio in Upwey, Melbourne, just a few minutes from the train. It’s on a quiet street and feels warm and cosy, with wooden floors, soft lighting, and professional acoustics. We specialise in producing independent singer/songwriters. We have a lineup of established session musicians skilled in almost all styles and genres. Bands and other ensembles are welcome.
There’s a main room for live sets, shoots, or recording, plus a couple of smaller rooms for vocals or instruments. You’ll also find a concert grand piano and a comfy lounge for breaks.
