About this space
Pughouse Studios, a world class recording, mixing and mastering studio, was designed by renowned acoustic designer Dave Flett.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art microphones, preamps, equalisers and compressors (details on Gear Page), as well as a wonderful Pfeiffer Grand Piano, which was built in Germany in the 1930’s and has been passed down through generations of the Schauble family. Also available is a large range of drumkits and percussion. The studio's layout ensures eye contact between all performers, even when playing in acoustically isolated rooms.
Niko Schauble has many decades of experience as a musician, composer, producer and engineer and knows how important a relaxed atmosphere is to allow creativity to flow freely. His continuing collaborations with Australia’s top artists gives clients access to some of the best musicians around

Audio Recording, Mixing & Mastering
$95 + GST per hour (incl engineer, use of Piano, Drums, Cymbals & Percussion & Drum Tech assistance).
Podcast Recording
Room Hire only (no equipment) $40 + GST per hour

In full HD with two Sony HXR-MC88 cameras.
$50 + GST per hour
Video Editing
$50 + GST per hour (DaVinci Resolve)
Drum Tracks
From $200 per track.
BYO Engineer (Dry Hire)
Studio + Gear + Instruments
$65 per hour (Minimum booking 4 hours)
Dry Hire bookings include an engineer for the first hour which is a requirement of Pughouse Studios.
