Whole Venue at La Vita Nova
About this space
An intimate, characterful space in the heart of South Yarra, with five connected rooms that are all yours for your booking. Softly lit, curtained and filled with books, candles and art, La Vita Nova is made for gatherings that feel personal: long-table dinners, brand launches, creator events, workshops, celebrations and shoots.
Up to 40 seated or 80 standing, across about 120 sqm.
The rooms
• The Library Room (2.75 x 11.8m): bookshelf-lined, with a long dining table. Our most-loved setting for candlelit dinners, luncheons and workshops.
• The Piano Room (4.6 x 4.2m): a grand piano for live music, recitals and speeches.
• The Gallery (3.85 x 7.6m): where guests arrive. Ideal for welcome drinks, displays and launches.
• The Main Studio (4.3 x 6.4m): clean backdrops, studio lighting and natural light for shoots, castings and content.
• The Exhibition Space (4 x 3m): plinths and wall space for products, pop-ups and installations.
What's included
Exclusive use of all five rooms, set-up and pack-down within your hours, a layout planned with you before the day, a member of our team on hand, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, kitchen access for caterers and a standard reset afterwards.
Catering and styling
Bring your own caterer, or we can arrange catering for you. Our team can also style the space, from simple table settings to a full event design, with tableware, table linen and LED candles available to add.
Extras
Projector, an on-site content creator capturing candid photo and video (raw files the same day), and waitstaff on request.
Good to know
BYO alcohol for private events with prior approval. A short walk from South Yarra Station, with street parking nearby. We're happy to arrange a viewing, and we reply to enquiries within one working day.

No wedding licence
Host rules
• No smoking or vaping inside the venue.
• No glitter, confetti, loose petals or sand.
• Please decorate with care for the walls and any artworks on show. Nothing to be fixed to walls without our approval.
• Set-up and pack-down must happen within your booked hours.
• All decorations, belongings and rubbish must be removed before departure.
• No liquor licence: BYO alcohol only for private, non-ticketed events, with our written approval beforehand. Alcohol can't be sold or included in a ticket price.
• We're on a residential street, so please keep noise down when arriving and leaving. Music finishes with your booking and things stay quiet from 10pm.
• Please share your caterer's details with us ahead of the event.
• Damage to the space or furniture will be charged.
