Il Mercato Centrale is the perfect place to host your event, from small birthday parties to big corporate functions, with a unique, eclectic vibe that merges Italian heritage and contemporary hospitality.
It offers three full levels that can accommodate more than 2.000 people (capacity varies based on type of event and seating plan), a last-generation AV system at your disposal for the diffusion of content and sound throughout the whole venue, and 23 artisans offer an incomparable mix of dishes and fresh products – including a Neapolitan pizzeria, a fine dining restaurant, a distillery, and three different bars.

It’s a place where food is lived, told and prepared by artisans who respect it and know it deeply. It’s a place to be lived and breathed, a place to hang and enjoy, that becomes a cultural and social melting pot without losing its spontaneity and simplicity.
The Melbourne 3,500 square metres location features three floors with 23 artisan stores full of flavours, an authentic Italian restaurant, a traditional Napoletana pizzeria, and a dedicated function space.
The first floor features both casual and fine dining experiences, the second floor is dedicated to private events, artisan masterclasses, and free cultural gatherings for the community, and the ground level has a market square with open kitchens that allow visitors to watch artisans at work, from a specialty cheesemaker and patisserie to a bakery, butcher, and handmade pasta bar.
