About this space

Bowls, an Outdoor Space at Blackburn Bowls Club, is a long covered terrace that provides sheltered outdoor space beside the bowling area.

Design: The terrace has a practical club-style finish of concrete and tiled floors, exposed posts and shade sails. The layout is linear and open, arranged for easy circulation along the length of the covered area.

Features: The space includes a PA system and speakers, allows own music and external DJs, and is subject to a venue noise restriction. The area is step-free and wheelchair accessible and supplies fold-out tables for buffet or casual setups.

Ideal for: Community groups and sports clubs seeking a relaxed, partly outdoor gathering that mixes seated dining and standing socialising.

What guests say: The space is welcoming and supported by friendly, helpful staff. The space benefits from plentiful parking and clear, prompt communications around bookings.
