Mycelium Music Studio is a community-driven creative hub in Melbourne, designed to nurture artists, producers, and performers at every stage of their journey. We offer affordable, acoustically treated spaces equipped with analogue and digital recording gear, we get professional results without stretching your budget.
Our team of engineers and creatives are here to help bring your ideas to life — whether you’re recording an album, rehearsing with your band, or hosting a live showcase. Alongside our recording room, we have fully equipped jam room and a flexible event space ideal for performances, workshops, and launches.
At Mycelium, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do — a place where creativity grows, connections form, and the best music grows.

Host rules
We require a security deposit of $500 (not applicable for recording studio) which will be returned once an inspection of the space has deemed it satisfactory post shoot. We will invoice you once you accept the booking. Please send through a bank account so that we can return your bond promptly after your booking.
If there is cleaning required (eg. the floor needs sweeping, or toilets are left dirty) we charge a $220 cleaning fee.
Please note: here at Mycelium we have deep respect for our mother Earth and are working towards a sustainable future. Please bring your own reusable water bottles, keep cups and try to minimise waste wherever possible.

Co-locating facilities, work spaces, and event spaces facilitates the exchange of ideas, and information, builds relationships and develops community. This process became a catalyst for the incarnation of Mycelium Creative and the ability to pool the diverse creative fields of the tenantship into a consultancy model.
