Host rules

Restrictions
a. Under NO conditions can alcohol be sold on the premises or consumed outside of the premises at any time during the Hire Period.
b. No climbing is permitted anywhere in the premises, in particular the outdoor decking, fencing and stairwells.
c. Smoking is prohibited within the premises, this includes all access points, stairs, kitchen, toilets and the areas within 10 metres of Bayley Arts premises. The building, including all access points, are non-smoking areas.
d. NO glitter is allowed to be used in workshops.
e. While we extend a warm invitation to all hirers, and their guests with certified assistance animals, no other pets are allowed on the premises without written permission from our Community Arts Engagement Manager.
f. The hirer shall comply with the requirements of the Noise Control Act, 1975

Liability
a. Bayley Arts recommends that all hirers have Public Liability Insurance for the sum of $10 Million.
b. The hirer will be liable for the cost of accidental or negligent damage.
c. The hirer will be liable for any charges should the fire brigade, securing personnel or other emergency service be called to respond to an alarm which has been set off by any activity by the hirer or guests.

Damage
The hirer shall take all reasonable steps to prevent disorderly conduct in the venue and grounds throughout the period of hire

You shall indemnify Bayley Arts for any damage sustained to the Premises during the Hire Period where such damage arose from your activities or the actions of your invitees and was reasonably preventable by the hirer.

Bayley Arts accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to property belonging to either the hirer or any other person attending the function.

Any damage must be reported to the Community Arts Engagement Manager no later than the first Business Day after the damage occurs.
