About this space

The Function Room is a private function room in The Sporting Globe Chirnside Park, defined by a large, open-plan upstairs space.

Design: The room has an industrial-modern finish with high exposed ceilings, timber slatted panels, textured brickwork and wide windows that admit natural light, arranged around freestanding tables and high stools.

Features: The room includes air conditioning, venue Wi‑Fi and abundant natural light, plus flexible freestanding tables and high stools for quick reconfiguration. The room permits guest-controlled music or a hired DJ and provides step-free access, wheelchair-accessible facilities and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Larger social groups seeking a relaxed, informal setting that accommodates a mix of standing receptions and casual seated dining.

What sets it apart: A bank of fixed large-screen TVs and an integrated PA system provide a turnkey audiovisual setup for live sports, presentations or DJ-led events.

What guests say: The function room benefits from friendly, attentive staff and suits a lively, music-forward atmosphere rather than a quiet dining experience.
