The venue was lovely. Really light and airy room. Interesting art on the wall that provoke some discussion. The coffee and tea was on tap and really good quality. Lunch was delicious - good quality sandwiches with different types of bread, fresh fruit and delicious cakes. Dairy free option was also really well presented and enjoyed.
Only minor comment was that there was only one toilet working and the door for the one that was working was really hard to close.
It was a beautiful, spacious, light filled room. the team were excellent - nothing was too much trouble and everything was set up exactly as we had asked. Fab location - and nice to give the money to a charitable organisation.
The pre-arrival communications helped to make sure that everything on the day went smoothly. A big thank you to Lily; and also to Mike for the tour.
Great location and fantastic service, we had all the equipment we needed for our conference. Catering service was really nice.
The room was very cold, only one or two very small heaters which weren't able to heat the room sufficiently in January. Also would have been helpful to have labels on the food to differentiate between vegetarian and non-veg.
About The Foundling Museum
The Foundling Museum tells the remarkable story of the Foundling Hospital, established in the eighteenth century by Thomas Coram to care for and educate London’s most vulnerable children. The artist William Hogarth and the composer George Frideric Handel played a big part in realising Coram’s vision. Together, they transformed the Hospital into the UK’s first public art gallery, and one of London’s most fashionable venues.
Situated within a Grade II-listed, Georgian style building, the Museum houses a wealth of treasures, including Handel’s will and part of his famous oratorio Messiah. Magnificent paintings from some of the most celebrated eighteenth-century artists are also displayed, including Hogarth’s The March of the Guards to Finchley, alongside sculpture, ceramics, furniture and decorative art.
Whether you are planning a wedding or a networking event, the Foundling Museum offers a selection of spaces in which to entertain your guests. With exclusive hire, your guests can enjoy full access to the Museum’s collection.
As a registered charity, all income from venue hire supports our work with marginalised and vulnerable children.
