Centauri Studios

Centauri Studios is a creator-led production space at 4 Pritchett Street, Birmingham. It has two studios on one floor, built for photographers, filmmakers, brands and content creators who want to turn up and start shooting.

Studio 1, the Technical Suite, is a fully rigged studio. The Godox lighting kit comes with the hourly rate: continuous lights, studio flash heads, LED bars, octaboxes and softboxes, plus C-stands and lighting stands. Grey, black and white roller backdrops are on the wall, so you can switch looks in seconds. The room holds up to ten people and has a changing room, a makeup desk and a toilet. It’s ideal for fashion, campaign and product shoots, music videos, headshots and podcasts.

Studio 2, the Content Suite, is a styled set with a lounge area and a nook by the window with natural light. The two areas read as different places on camera, so you get more variety from one booking. It holds up to twelve people and suits TikToks, reels, podcasts, interviews and brand content. You can add the Godox kit for evening or controlled-light shoots.

For bigger productions and full crews, book the whole floor. Both rooms have 8ft ceilings and wifi, and you get in with a door code. There’s free parking on the road and a cafe downstairs. It’s walking distance from the city centre and Aston University, and minutes from the M6.
