About this space
The Technical Suite is a fully kitted production studio on Pritchett Street, Birmingham. The lighting is rigged and ready when you arrive, so you can start shooting straight away. It’s built for campaign and fashion photography, product shoots, music videos, film and podcasts.
The Godox lighting kit comes with the hourly rate: two Godox SL60W continuous lights, two Godox MS300V studio flash heads, two LED light bars, two octaboxes, a rectangular softbox, a lantern softbox and a backdrop flash, plus two C-stands and two lighting stands. Three roller backdrops in grey, black and white sit on the wall, so you can change looks between setups in seconds. If you bring your own gear, stands are available and there’s storage in the room.
The room holds up to ten people. It has 8ft ceilings and comes with a changing room, a makeup desk and a toilet. Wifi is included and entry is self-access by key code. There’s free parking on the road and a cafe downstairs. Book it together with the Content Suite to get the whole floor for bigger productions and full crews.

Host rules
• Arrive and leave on time. Setup and pack-down count as part of your booking.
• Running more than 20 minutes over your slot is charged as the next full hour.
• Standard bookings need 48 hours’ notice to cancel. Same-day bookings can’t be refunded.
• Photo ID, a signed damage waiver and agreement to these rules are needed before your booking is confirmed.
• Stick to the capacity limits: 10 people in the Technical Suite and 12 in the Content Suite.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere in the building.
• No glitter, confetti, powder, paint, open flames or smoke machines without written approval.
• Food and drinks stay away from the lighting, backdrops and furniture.
• Handle studio equipment with care. Roll the backdrops back up and put the lights back where you found them.
• Tell us about any damage or breakages straight away. Damage caused during your booking will be charged.
• Leave the studio as you found it: rubbish in the bins, furniture back in place, lights switched off.
• Keep the noise down in shared areas and on the stairs. There are other businesses in the building.
• Don’t share the door code with anyone outside your booking, and make sure the door is locked when you leave.
• Your session may be ended without a refund if anyone behaves in a way that’s unsafe, illegal or disrespectful.
