About this space
The Content Suite is a creator-led studio space at Centauri Studios on Pritchett Street, Birmingham, set up for podcasts, talking-head videos, interviews, brand content and photo shoots. It’s built by a team that shoots content for brands every week, so the room is laid out to make filming quick and easy.
The suite has an Amaran lighting setup you control from your phone through the Sidus Link app, so you can change brightness and colour without climbing ladders. A roller backdrop system lets you switch backgrounds between setups in seconds, and full-length curtains give you a soft, neutral backdrop or let you block out daylight when you need to. Mic mounts on grip gear keep audio clean and out of shot, which makes it a good fit for podcasts and sit-down interviews.
Access is self-serve with smart-lock entry, so you can start your booking on time without waiting for someone to let you in. Lighting equipment can be added to your booking subject to availability, and for bigger productions you can book the Content Suite together with our Technical Suite to get the whole floor, just under 2,000 sq ft.
Ideal for: podcasts, YouTube and short-form content, brand campaigns, product shoots, headshots, interviews and small crew productions.

Host rules
• Arrive and leave on time. Setup and pack-down count as part of your booking.
• Running more than 20 minutes over your slot is charged as the next full hour.
• Standard bookings need 48 hours’ notice to cancel. Same-day bookings can’t be refunded.
• Photo ID, a signed damage waiver and agreement to these rules are needed before your booking is confirmed.
• Stick to the capacity limits: 10 people in the Technical Suite and 12 in the Content Suite.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere in the building.
• No glitter, confetti, powder, paint, open flames or smoke machines without written approval.
• Food and drinks stay away from the lighting, backdrops and furniture.
• Handle studio equipment with care. Roll the backdrops back up and put the lights back where you found them.
• Tell us about any damage or breakages straight away. Damage caused during your booking will be charged.
• Leave the studio as you found it: rubbish in the bins, furniture back in place, lights switched off.
• Keep the noise down in shared areas and on the stairs. There are other businesses in the building.
• Don’t share the door code with anyone outside your booking, and make sure the door is locked when you leave.
• Your session may be ended without a refund if anyone behaves in a way that’s unsafe, illegal or disrespectful.
