The Commercial Kitchen in UUCA is a functional, commercial kitchen centred on a large stainless-steel prep island that provides a practical production surface for meal preparation.

Design: The kitchen has a bright, practical layout finished with tiled floors and a suspended acoustic ceiling. The space receives natural daylight from windows and uses bright overhead task lighting for even illumination.

Features: The kitchen contains commercial ovens, mobile sheet-pan racks, a large upright refrigerator and mobile storage trolleys for staging and holding. The kitchen also includes multiple prep sinks, a commercial ventilation hood and extensive benching and counter space. The space provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, allows use of own music, and has wheelchair access with nearby accessible toilets and a step‑free entrance.
