Space features
The Terrace is a covered outdoor terrace at Pumphouse Sydney whose transparent roof keeps the area bright and usable in varied weather.
Design: The Terrace uses natural materials and a neutral palette: rattan chairs and benches, round wooden tables, black-and-white tiled flooring, timber roof beams and woven pendant lights, with hanging and potted greenery framing the dining runs.
Features: The terrace provides a flexible mix of freestanding tables and bench seating that can be rearranged for seated or standing layouts. The space permits a bring-your-own-DJ setup, includes wheelchair access and accessible toilets, and features open-sided panels that aid ventilation.
Ideal for: The Terrace suits intimate to medium groups seeking relaxed, informal seated dining or standing drinks in a sheltered outdoor setting.
What sets it apart: The terrace offers direct street-level views across Darling Square, providing an open, urban outlook.
What guests say: The terrace pairs convenient outdoor seating with access to a broad tap-beer rotation and beverage choice noted in reviews.
