The Alibi is a newly built, modern and open-plan venue that caters for cocktail style, birthdays, engagements, weddings and corporate events (Christmas parties). Our function venue is perfectly positioned off the Eastlink between south and east Melbourne making travel very easy from a variety of suburbs across Melbourne.

We offer a range of venue hire that are perfect for any special occasion and we can cater for a minimum of 60 people, right up to 400 guests. We have recently undertaken a brand new renovation and fit-out, so you can be sure our venue will definitely impress your guests.

The moment I first walked into The Alibi, I knew I would like the venue. The whole atmosphere & ambiance just felt right, like it just has that vibe about it. Spiro was great in helping me plan my event, from start to finish. The food was amazing, which all my guests complemented on, the staff were great & so very friendly & extremely helpful, letting me know how the evening was progressing. Without any doubt, I would recommend The Alibi venue to everyone wanting to hold their event there.
