About this space

The Upstairs Lounge & Terrace is a private event space for 25 to 120 guests, suitable for birthdays, engagement parties, company events, presentations, and private celebrations. The venue includes its own bar, private bathrooms, a TV, and access to a spacious outdoor terrace for indoor and outdoor events.

The room can accommodate up to 120 standing guests or 50 seated, with layouts arranged to suit your event. Food and drink packages are available, and private access is included until 10:30 PM, with later finishes available by arrangement.

Host rules

• Cyan Bar & Lounge is a licensed venue and Responsible Service of Alcohol applies at all times. Our staff may refuse service, and intoxicated or anti-social behaviour is not permitted.
Valid photo ID may be requested on entry. Minors are welcome at private functions when supervised by a parent or guardian - please confirm arrangements with our team when booking, as licensing conditions apply.
• No BYO - all food and beverages are supplied by the venue.
• You're welcome to play your own music or book a DJ; volume must stay within the levels agreed with our team to meet noise-compliance conditions.
• Decorations are welcome, but no nails, screws, tape on painted surfaces, glitter, confetti, smoke machines or open flames/candles. Please clear any props, signage or special setups with us beforehand.
• Final guest numbers and menu selections are due 7 days prior to the event.
• The space is booked for the agreed hours. Exclusive use after 10pm is available for a $250 late-hire fee; otherwise the area reopens to the public.
• Any damage to the venue, furniture or equipment caused by the host or their guests may be charged to the host.
• Guests are responsible for their own belongings; the venue is not liable for lost or damaged personal items.
• Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
