About this space
The venue is fitted with:
• Basic stage lighting (additional cost of $150 to use, cannot be moved or altered)) and PA system (AirPlay & AUX compatible)
• Mirrored rear wall (behind curtains) for dance or movement use
• Tables & director’s station at the back of the space
• Reception foyer, with couches and display walls featuring theatrical costumes
• Green room (upstairs, additional cost) and backstage dressing room (ground level)
• Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and free high-speed WiFi (kitchen not to be used for extensive cooking/catering)
• Split system heating in theatre
• Loading dock with double doors for bump-in/bump-out
• 5 reserved car spaces and unlimited street parking
• Wheelchair accessible (all ground-level areas including dressing room and stage)
Booking:
Minimum hire is 4 hours. Hourly and full-day bookings available.

About Alpha Shows Theatre
Alpha Studio Theatre is a fully equipped and adaptable creative space located in Altona North. Designed with performance in mind, this 400sqm warehouse conversion includes a 10m x 7m black-painted permanent stage and a 10m x 12m total theatre area with flexible seating configurations.
Used as the creative home of Alpha Shows since 2022, the space features inspiring quotes and nods to its theatrical roots, yet it remains neutral and adaptable enough for all types of events, whether you’re staging a new work or just need quiet space for solo prep.
