About this space

Upstairs is a lounge in Baroq House defined by an intimate, semi-private layout and tiered seating.

Design: The space pairs a dark, tonal palette with quilted upholstery and warm, low-level lighting to create a compact, luxurious feel. The floor is arranged on stepped levels that form distinct seating terraces and a clear central circulation route.

Features: The lounge includes semi-circular booth seating and low tables, and the floor can be cleared to create a small dance area. The room has an integrated sound system, adjustable lighting controls, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, and it permits external DJs or own music. The space is wheelchair accessible and can be reconfigured by the venue's events team to suit different layouts.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a lively, social evening in a compact, nightclub-style lounge with seating to gather and space to dance.

What sets it apart: A layered sculptural ceiling installation provides a striking visual focal point above the seating areas.

What guests say: The event team provides hands-on planning and attentive on‑the‑night support, including layout advice, run-sheet coordination and lighting selection.
