About this space

Welcome to Thornbury is a multi-area bar venue centred on a large courtyard that provides a casual, festival-style hire setting.

Design: The venue presents an industrial, open-plan layout with exposed metalwork, timber planters, mixed communal seating, festoon lighting and colourful signage that creates an informal, energetic look.

Features: The venue includes a fully licensed bar, an outdoor kitchen servicing rotating food trucks and several private function rooms. The space provides a PA system and speakers, allowance for own music or a BYO DJ, a dance area, air conditioning, natural light, wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Social groups and colleagues seeking a relaxed, social standing reception or an informal seated gathering in a casual, lively setting.

What sets it apart: The venue houses the largest licensed arcade in Australia, an on-site amusement attraction that complements the bar and outdoor spaces.

What guests say: The venue delivers a fun, relaxed atmosphere, a lively outdoor area used by food trucks, and an event team that is organised and helpful.
