About this space

Bar Backroom, a Private Lounge in Radium Bar, is a compact, intimate backroom centred on sofa-style seating that keeps groups together in a single, casual social area.

Design: The room shows reclaimed wooden tables, mismatched stools and framed vintage posters on white walls, creating an informal, lived-in appearance. The floor is dark timber and low-level lighting plus potted plants soften the interior.

Features: The room includes an in-room PA system and speakers. Wi‑Fi is available and guests may play their own music or hire a DJ. The space provides natural light through windows and has step-free guest access.

Ideal for: Small groups of friends or colleagues seeking a relaxed, social lounge for seated conversation and casual drinks.

What sets it apart: A large on-site collection of board and tabletop games provided for guest use.

What guests say: The Bar Backroom is quirky and characterful with a lively, social atmosphere. The space regularly hosts boardgame sessions and live-jazz evenings.
