About this space

The Tarmac Lounge is a lounge in Westside Hotel characterised by an informal, social layout that prioritises relaxed mingling over formal seating.

Design: The lounge presents patterned carpet, exposed brick window surrounds and broad windows that admit natural light. The furnishing combines neutral leather sofas, low lounge seating and wooden barrel-style high tables for casual standing areas.

Features: The lounge provides hotel Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and a PA system with speakers. The space allows own music and external DJs, and includes informal seating areas and high stools. The room has a step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets for wheelchair access.

Ideal for: Small groups and work teams seeking a relaxed, social gathering space for informal standing receptions or casual seated catch-ups.

What sets it apart: A dedicated games area centred on a full-size pool table provides a clear entertainment focus exclusive to this lounge.

What guests say: The Tarmac Lounge's staff are attentive and welcoming. The space is clean and comfortable and staff respond promptly to requests.
