About this space

Inside Area is an Event Space in Rokeby 100 offering an open-plan industrial interior defined by high ceilings and a flexible floorplate.

Design: The space has exposed brick and dark-painted walls, high ceilings and a concrete floor, anchored by a long back bar and simple pendant and string lighting.

Features: The space includes a fixed bar, a ceiling-mounted screen and projector and an in-house PA system and speakers suitable for DJs. The space has air conditioning and Wi‑Fi, a step-free guest entrance, wheelchair-accessible toilets, and permits external DJs and own music.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a lively, music-led standing reception or a relaxed, social gathering that uses a central bar and AV setup.

What sets it apart: An operable industrial roller door that can be used as a dramatic entrance for arrivals or stage-style access.

What guests say: The space is supported by attentive, organised event management that enables flexible setup and smooth-running events. The room's sound system and AV reliably handle DJ sets and slideshow projection.

The atmosphere was great - cozy yet modern, warm and inviting, but also very sophisticated. I got a lot of compliments about the space from the guests, so I'm definitely not the only one thinking this. ;)

It does get hot/stuffy, especially if you have invited guests close to capacity. So in hotter seasons, definitely opt to leave the roller door open; in colder seasons, tell guests to dress in layers.
